Terms of Service
Last updated: March 26, 2026
1. Agreement
By accessing or using Outcall software or services ("Outcall"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Outcall on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf.
2. License terms by tier
Free Core (open source)
The Outcall free core (CLI, policy engine, executors, guardrails) is released under the MIT License. Source code is available on GitHub. You may use, modify, and distribute the free core in accordance with that license.
Pro
The Pro web dashboard, approval channels, and enhanced features are proprietary software licensed on a per-seat subscription basis. You may use the Pro tier for your own organization during the paid subscription period. You may not sublicense, resell, or distribute the Pro tier.
Enterprise
Enterprise terms are negotiated separately. Contact enterprise@outcall.dev.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Outcall to:
- Bypass, disable, or circumvent the policy engine to evade its own governance controls.
- Use the approval system to approve requests you know to be harmful or unauthorized.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Interfere with the availability of the Outcall hosted service.
- Attempt to access other customers' data or the Outcall infrastructure beyond your authorized account.
4. Service availability
The Pro hosted service (dashboard, approval channels) targets 99.5% monthly uptime. Planned maintenance windows are announced 48 hours in advance.
Enterprise SLA commitments (99.9% or greater) are defined in the separate Enterprise Agreement.
The free core is self-hosted software. Outcall makes no uptime commitments for self-hosted deployments.
5. Subscriptions and billing
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe.
- Prices may change with 30 days' written notice.
- Annual plans are non-refundable after 30 days. Monthly plans may be cancelled any time and access continues until the end of the billing period.
- Pro trials (14 days) are non-renewing unless a payment method is added before expiry.
6. Data and privacy
Data handling is governed by the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
7. Liability limitations
Outcall is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outcall's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Outcall is a governance tool, not a security boundary. You are responsible for the security of your own agent deployments and infrastructure.
8. Termination
You may terminate your subscription at any time through the dashboard or by emailing support@outcall.dev.
Outcall may terminate or suspend accounts for material violation of the acceptable use policy, with notice where practicable.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
